Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN in the year 2016. The child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is a bilingual since she was nine years old, a valuable skill that helped her secure her first position in the production department with Univision in Miami and allowed her to work with the producers of national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. Then she was promoted to a reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. In 2009 she moved from Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an anchor for the newscast of The Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories about drugs and immigration issues from both sides of the Mexico-Texas Border, she worked as a news reporter on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV48 at 5 pm. She was a news reporter in English at 9 pm and then a news anchor for 10pm, before returning to KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel. Also, she was often requested to fill in as a sports and weather anchor. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's station affiliated with Dallas. In that station, she was given greater accountability. She was a reporter for events like the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series, the Dallas Cowboys and the NBA Postseason and the finals for FC Dallas FC Dallas Stars. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports program Accion Deportiva Extra, on where she was anchor. She also served as the sports anchor of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She also played the role on Primer Impacto on UniMas Network as well as Contacto Deportivo for its magazine show. Antonietta Collin's parents were originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually settled in Mexico City and she was born there on November 22 the 22nd of November, 1985. There is an older sister. There is an older sibling. In 1992, her parents divorced and shortly afterward in 1995 she was remarried Fabio Fajardo who was a naval engineer who passed away in 2006 after suffering from kidney cancer. While on a trip with the family in Ohio, younger Collins had taken a position alongside her elder sister. Antonietta was a senior in high school, yet she knew exactly what career path she wanted to pursue. When she was deciding whether Mount Union would be a good fit to her needs, Antonietta decided to go visit the campus. The campus was a dream for her. The university also provided her with the program she was interested in. Her studies were completed and she was accepted to the University as a major of media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor and manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. He encouraged her to be self-confident and his passion for journalism deeply affected her, and she was determined to fulfill his standards and never let him down.
